Our Weekend!

This past weekend we went down to Emery County to celebrate my mom and sister's birthday! We went up to my parents cabin and pretty much got rained in all weekend. While down there I was able to go and visit my long time friend Layci and get to see her new baby boy! It was so much fun seeing her and catching up! On our way home on Sunday we decided to stop and see the Crandall Canyon Monument before it got much colder.  I am so glad that we did because it was so beautiful! Here are some pictures from our weekend and pictures of the monument for those of you who have yet to see it! If you get the chance you should go see it in person because the atmosphere is so peaceful!

Layci's little girl Madisyn and her new little baby boy Ajay! Madisyn is such a character and is going to be the best big sister. Ajay is super cute and is such a TANK for only being 2 months old. I love chubby babies!!

Who eats more sweets? Me for sure, Dave usually makes me feel guilty because he usually doesn't want dessert.

Who is the better singer? I would say Dave, but I don't think either one of us are terrible. I don't think that we have a shot at being the next American Idol though.

Who is smarter? When it comes to school work I would say me, but when it comes to real life things I would say Dave.

Who does the laundry? We both do, although it took a few ruined clothes, Dave can now do the laundry as well as I can.

Who pays the bills? I do

Who mows the lawn? Dave does, I clean the inside so he mows the lawn.

Who cooks dinner? Most of the time me, but sometimes Dave does.

Who drives? When we are together Dave

Who asked who out first? Daniel and Jenna hooked us up, but I told Jenna that I wouldn't go out with him unless he called me first!

Who wears the pants? Probably me or at least Dave is sweet enough to make me believe I do!

I've Been Tagged!

So I haven't really had much to blog about the last few weeks, but Cindy and Brandi both tagged me several weeks ago, so I am going to give in and do one of each of their tags.

Here goes!

For starters Cindy's tag was to tell 6 random things about myself!

So here are six random things about me:
1. I really want to go skydiving someday!
2. I think that I am addicted to traveling! I swear that I am constantly looking on travel websites daydreaming about my next vacation spot! Too bad I haven't been on a big vacation in a couple of years! Dave and I keep saying that we are going to go on vacation this winter.... hopefully it really happens. I really want to go to Puerto Rico, The Carribean, or Mexico again. I guess we will have to keep saving our money!
3. I used to be a dancer and miss it every day! I mostly just miss the being in shape without actually having to hit the gym!
4. I make excuses all the time of why I have to go to the store! Good thing Dave knows me by now and knows that I just need a little shopping fix! Sometimes I will just go to Target and just walk around for hours without noticing that 2 hours has gone by! What can I say, I'm a shopaholic!!
5. I am Bipolar when it comes to keeping my house clean! It is either spotless or a complete disaster! I am one of the people who when there house is a mess and the door bell rings I hide and pretend I'm not home! Sorry If I have ever done this to you! LOL!!!!!!
6. I work graveyards so getting up early is getting up before nine o' clock in the morning. I wish I was more of a morning person and most of the time I hate that I sleep so late, but oh well I guess I will take the sleep while I can!

1. Coming home and Sadie getting so excited to see me! She acts like I have been gone forever even if it has only been a few hours!
2. Being married to my best friend! I look forward to my time off of work just because I know that we can spend time together! Dave is the one person that I never get sick of! I guess that's why he is my husband!!!
3. Summer!!! I pretty much love everything about it from boating, fairs, rodeo's, and the hot summer nights! I am starting to get sad thinking about how it is coming to an end!

3. I have paid for a gym pass for the last year and a half and have probably been 5 times! I really need to start using it!
