Jaren's New Favs!

Jaren is now 7 months old and we can't believe how fast he is growing up. We feel so lucky to have such a sweet baby! Jaren now has 8 teeth, 4 on top and 4 on bottom. Crazy I know! Braxton likes to call him MR. TEETH MAN! He is sitting up playing with toys and venturing into finger foods. Now that he can sit up; the tub has become a whole new world for him, which he loves! We have finally broke him of being swaddled and he can now fall to sleep on his own when put in his crib! He isn't really attempting crawling yet which is just fine with me because he is constantly going non stop. If that is a sign of what he will be like when he is finally on the move then I hope it takes him a few more months. Here are a few pictures of Jaren's new favorite things.

A Fun Halloween, Just Horse'in around!

Halloween this year fell over the Elk hunt and since Dave was hunting with my dad down at the cabin I decided I might as well go down too. Jaren and I didn't go to the cabin, but we spent four days with my mom and sister Jessie. It was a fun and busy four days. We carved pumpkins, went to the Michael Jackson "This is It" show, went to the carnival, I went to lunch with some girlfriends, and of course we dressed up for Halloween! Dave came down and then went trick-or-treating at Aunt JuNette's and Grandpa & Gradma Macdonald's house.

Sunny St. George!

This October my mom turned the Big 50 and we decided that we wanted to get away and do something fun. I got us girls tickets to Thriller at the Tuacahn in St. George and it was awesome! I have seen this show before, but the outdoor amphitheatre made it so much better. They also did a tribute to MJ that was so neat to get to see. My parents also rented a house with a pool which was so much fun for the kids! On Saturday the guys went golfing and then we went to Texas Roadhouse for a yummy birthday dinner. It was a well needed warm weekend!

Fall is Here!

We recently got a new camera and have been trying to figure it out so that we can take better pictures of our little guy. Yesterday we went for a drive up Payson Canyon and believe me fall is really here. The colors were so bright and beautiful. We stopped and took some pictures of Jaren, which turned out pretty good I think for being amateurs. Blogger doesn't do the best job at showing the quality of your photos, but here are some that we took.

Meet Brogan!

My sister Jessie had her baby last thursday on September 17th. He is the most perfect little boy and I have to say I am a pretty proud Auntie! She had her baby in Payson hospital so we have had lots of family staying at our house. Here are a some pictures of Jessie's baby and of our fun weekend spent with family! Congrats Jessie, Shawn, and Braxton!

Our little man is growing up so fast it is sad, but is now at a really fun stage! Jaren is now smiling and giggling at everything. I never knew that I could be so funny, but to him I am! We are so lucky to have such an easy going little guy. Jaren is now sleeping all night in his own room, playing with toys, rolling over from stomach to back, and just started cereal. He has two teeth that he has had since he was 2 1/2 months, lets hope he doesn't get any more for a while. We have had lots of fun with him this summer from boating to going to the cabin. Here is some new pictures of him. Sorry there's lots!

A Name & A Blessing

On Saturday we had Jaren's blessing at our house. We just had our family come and Dave's dad gave Jaren the blessing. He gave such a beautiful blessing and almost everyone in the room was choked up. We were planning on doing everything outside, but the weather was bad so we ended up inside. We had a little luncheon afterwards and then just visited with everyone for a few hours.

 Everything turned out perfect and special for our little man!
