HALLOWEEN

We just stayed home this year for Halloween. Our ward had a trunk-or-treat that was on our street so kids went to the cars and also to the houses. I like it a lot better this way because then the kids actually get to knock on the doors and say Trick-or-treat. It actually started raining while we were out so the Trick-or-treating didn't last to long, but with a 1 year old I really didn't figure it would. Later that night Dave's brother JR and his family came over to visit. The girls looked so cute in their costumes! We were a little sad we didn't go home to visit the grandparents, but they at least got to see Jaren in his costume thanks to SKYPE!

Jaren was Frankenstein for Halloween this year and looked so cute in his costume!

Couples Trip to Lake Powell

After a very difficult month Dave and I were able to get away to Lake Powell with some friends. We had so much fun laughing and fist-pumping it up all week which turned out to be exactly what we had been needing. There is just something

so AMAZING about this place!

POWELL

We had such a blast spending a week in Lake Powell with my family! The weather was perfect the whole week with only one thunderstorm that sent all of us inside the houseboat in the middle of the night. The lightning gave us quite a show! In my opinion Lake Powell is one of the best places on earth and we were sad to have to come home. Here are some pictures of the many things we did on our vacation! I think that our favorite part of the trip was watching our BRAVE & AWESOME nieces and nephews learn how to kneeboard and wakeboard!
