I Think I'm A BIG BOY!

So there has been a lot going on at our house in the past month. Jaren learned how to crawl out of his crib so we felt that we had no choice but to make his crib into a toddler bed. It has taken almost a month for him to realize that he has to stay in bed, but I feel like I can finally say he has got the hang of it. It has been over a week now of just laying him down & walking out and his is finally staying in bed all night until around 8:30 in the morning. Since moving into his big boy bed Jaren has changed so much. It seems like he wants to be a big boy so bad! He is talking more and more and becoming so interested in the potty. He pees in the potty all the time and has went poo poo three times! Never thought I would be so excited to talk about it, but I am really starting to see the light at the end of the diaper tunnel! Some friends have shared a potty training book with me that you start at 22 Months! So 1 more month and I will be starting it. Sure hope it works! I can't believe my little baby is growing up so FAST!

I know that it is now February and I am just getting around to posting Christmas, but we had too much fun to just skip over it. So her are a few pictures of our Christmas happenings, who am I kidding here are a lot of pictures. (I have such a hard time limiting it down to a few!) We started our Christmas festivities off by going bowling at Fat Cats for the Rogers Christmas party. It was so much fun and nice because we just did Costa Vida
while we were there which meant no cooking for me.
Later we came back to our house for dessert and presents.

Aunt Ginny helping Jaren get the ball rolling!

This was so hilarious! Jaren somehow ended up in the
lane, Dave went after him
and slipped right on his butt :)

Colton bowling it up

One of Jarens favorite things is balls so he was in
"HEAVEN"

Braxton, Faith, & Gracie having a good time bowling

"My Boys"

The cousins minus the two babes who refused to get in the picture.
It's so sad how fast these kids are growing up!

I love this picture! Jaren was having so much fun getting pushed around by his cousin Jaxon, plus notice Sadie in the window. Cracks me up!

Gingerbread Train

Visiting Papa Joe and eating all his candy canes off his tree

Visiting Grandma Sherrie & getting to see her beautiful headstone

Next up was the Macdonald Christmas party. The kids had fun playing with their cousins and decorating sugar cookies.

Baby Ruby snapping a Pic!

Jaren loved his Toy Story book

Decorating cookies

Jaren wasn't much for decorating, but sure loved eating the cookies!

Grandpa Joe visited and brought Jaren a cool Corvette!

Then on Christmas Eve we had my Grandma Pat's/ Birkinshaw party at our house. Once again we had a full house, but we really love it that way.
It is so fun watching all the little cousins play!

Braxton being Jaren's horsey!

Trying to get a picture of the kids in their jammies on Christmas Eve.
Brogan wasn't to happy about it!

Don't know why but Jaren is obsessed with pulling out bowls and strainers and walking around with them on his head. The whole time saying "Hat, Hat".
Oh he also thinks everyone else has to have one too!

Jaren & Brogan on Christmas morning loving Braxton's Snowmobile

Jaren's new racetrack

Heading out sledding on Christmas Day, although this is as far as Jaren made it because he fell asleep in the car on the way there. So he got all dressed up to take a two hour nap!

Braxton was so funny with his new snowmobile sled! On the way there he asked if his sled had enough gas or if they needed to stop & get some!

Brogan & Papa Mick

Jaren loved Brogan's Bullseye! I was a little worried that I bought Jaren the wrong things because he seemed more interested in what his cousins got for Christmas. Although once they went home he seemed just as excited about his stuff! Thank Goodness!

Jaren's Elmo Jammies & Slippers (Plus his hat). This kid loves ELMO!
So there you have it, our Christmas recap!
