9 Months in, 9 Months out

It is so crazy for me to think that this little guy has been alive as long as I was pregnant. I didn't exactly enjoy being pregnant so 9 Months felt like forever, but 9 Months spent with Jaren everyday has flown by! In the past month or so it seems like he has changed so much. He is now crawling, pulling himself up, and cruising around furniture. He can clap his hands, wave Bye-Bye, and when you say "Jaren is sooo BIG" he will put his arms up above his head. Everyday is a new adventure and everyday I realize how my house is not childproofed. Jaren's new favorite things are walking around the table, his blanket, giving mom mouth wide open kisses, yogurt, cheese, and trying to pull Sadie's hair. He is such a crack-up and we love him so much. Here are his 9 Month pictures we took yesterday down at the Salem Pond. I am happy with how they turned out, but wish he would have smiled more in some. Oh well I guess I will take what I can get.

Go JAZZ!

Last Saturday Dave and I were tired of being cooped up in the house so we decided to try something a little spontaneous for once. A few hours before the Jazz game we found some really good seats on KSL for a good price so we decided to go last minute. Our seats were on row 6 which was really awesome. We didn't know how Jaren would do at the game, but he was really good. Between flirting with the girls behind us and watching all the people he was well entertained! It was a fun time and was neat getting to see the players so up close and personal.

Christmas Highlights!

I can't believe that another Christmas has came and went. It seems like the older I get the faster the years go by. We had a really great Christmas this year and with Jaren it was so much fun. We have had lots of family parties with lots of good food and good company. For Christmas my parents, sister Jessie, her husband Shawn, their two boys Braxton & Brogan, and my Grandma Pat, and Uncle Kim came to stay for a few days. It was so nice spending the holidays with all of them. I can't wait until next year when Jaren & Brogan actually know what is going on at Christmas. Here are some of the highlights of our Christmas! Sorry there is lots of pictures!

On Christmas Day we went up to Spanish Oaks Golf course sledding. Jaren looked so cute all bunddled up!

On Christmas Eve we had my mom's family (The Birkinshaw) party at our house. It was nice getting to see all my aunts & uncles, and cousins. This is a picture of Jaren with his Great Grandma Pat. We were so glad that she was able to come and stay for a few days!
