An Update, Finally!!

I have been the worst blogger lately and promise that I will try a little harder to update my blog. It's just that after feeling like CRAP for the past few months updating my blog has been the last thing I have wanted to do. I am finally starting to feel a little better and thought I would write a little update about what has been going on with us and about my pregnancy. I am now 22 weeks along and we found out about a week ago that we are going to be having a little boy! Dave was SUPER EXCITED!! Christmas was at our house this year and was lots of fun! We both were spoiled this year and are really going to cut back next year! Although I swear we say the same thing every year, we really are cutting back next year!! Dave surprised me and got me the Crib and dresser that I was wanting and I gave him a new snowboard! I ended up having to work on Christmas Day, just like every year, so Dave entertained my family while I went to work. I can't wait for the day when I don't have to work on Christmas! Sorry for no pictures with this post I dropped my camera right before Christmas and it is being repaired. That is pretty much all that has been going on with us. Now I just have to suffer through a few more months of miserable weather, although Dave is loving all the snow!

Our Life is Changing!

After being married for 4 1/2 years Dave and I have finally decided to see what new adventure life has for us! I know that so many of you thought that this day would never come, but it is finally here!! I am PREGNANT!! I am about 15 weeks along and am due on May 16th! We are really excited and a little freaked out, but can't wait for this little addition to our family! 

Halloween!

Our Halloween started out Thursday night when we finally carved our pumpkins. It was lots of fun, but I am so slow at it. Dave carved his and Sadie's in the time I carved mine! Then on Friday we handed out treats to the trick or treater's and anxiously awaited three special trick or treater's. Dave's brother brought his three girls over trick or treating and then they hung out with us the rest of the night. Then to finish out our Halloween weekend my sister-in-law Tammy and I went and watched THRILLER! It was lots of fun and such a perfect weekend!

I just had to post these pictures of the sugar cookies I made this year for Halloween! Since I have been married these are the first batch of cookies that I have made and was pretty proud of myself. It took me all day to make them and when I was finished I didn't even want to eat them. Well that only lasted a day and then cookies went fast! I just want to say what an amazing lady my grandma is because every holiday she makes sugar cookies and frosts and decorates them. I never knew how much work they were and I really appreciate all her hard work even more now!

This year for Halloween I made Sadie a little Tutu and she was a ballerina! She was so cute, but I don't think she liked it that well!
